49,90 € VAT included.Casa Lebai is a unique project in the Ribera del Duero with which the brothers Rodrigo and Asier Calvo intend to recover the wine tradition that Gumiel de Mercado has lost, one of the most important towns in the region and which hides a diversity of soils and varieties with incredible talent, as shown by Matadiablos. It is born in two places of great beauty and richness that were chosen by Rodrigo and Asier to work together in this ambitious project.
Matadiablos comes from a 2,61 hectares plot that Asier and Rodrigo's grandfather planted in 1997 with clones of fine Red from La Nava, in the Aguachar area. The vineyard, grown in a traditional goblet, is planted on a north-facing slope on deep clay soils. In the lower part of the slope is the stream, which separates Gumiel from Sotillo de la Ribera. The wine ferments spontaneously in tanks and ages for 12 months in a 3000 l foudre.
With a production of 7992 bottles, all of them numbered.
